Be the Heart of the Building
We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Porter at Paramount, one of our luxury high rises in San Francisco, to help keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone who walks through the door. You’ll support the building from the ground up—inside and out—by keeping common areas clean, assisting with move-ins, and helping maintain our high standards. If you take pride in a job well done and want to be part of a strong team, we’d love to meet you.
We currently have two openings with different schedules available - please apply if interested in either schedule and we will discuss shift preferences during the interview process. The schedules are listed below.
Schedule 1 :
Wednesday - Sunday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30PM
Days Off : Monday and Tuesday
Shift 2 :
Friday - Tuesday, 6 : 00AM - 2 : 30PM
Days Off : Wednesday and Thursday
What You’ll Do :
Grounds & Common Areas
Sweep sidewalks, terraces, lobbies, and hallways
Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the building
Respond quickly to spills, weather-related messes, or other safety hazards
Cleaning & Detailing
Clean and polish floors, glass, mirrors, brass, and woodwork
Deep clean as needed (carpet cleaning, grout scrubbing, waxing floors)
Maintain the laundry room, fitness center, and management offices
Report any damage or safety issues to the Resident Manager
Building Maintenance Support
Clean stairwells, service areas, and the compactor room
Change light bulbs and help prepare units for new residents
Use building systems to log tasks and report ongoing issues
Resident & Concierge Support
Cover the front desk during concierge breaks
Monitor service doors during move-ins and deliveries
Assist with unit inspections and ensure spaces look great for tours
Special Projects & Events
Help set up and clean shared spaces like lounges, rooftops, and gyms
Support building events and gatherings by helping with logistics and cleanup
Keep shared spaces looking welcoming and refreshed
Sustainability & Safety
Keep elevators, trash rooms, and amenity areas clean and odor-free
Support recycling and compost programs
Perform scent and cleanliness checks to ensure the building feels fresh
Participate in team meetings and be open to cross-training
