Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment by providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $20.46 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Sat 03 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM
  • Sun 03 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities, within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate observed concerns or unusual activity to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Document incidents and daily activities according to site requirements and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of facility policies and procedures as directed by site leadership.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
