We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Civil Engineer to join our fast-paced and innovative engineering team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, using cutting-edge technology and software. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a particular focus on FLO-2D or equivalent software. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career, with the opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the strategic direction of our engineering department.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Utilize FLO-2D software to design, model, and analyze various civil engineering projects, including flood risk management, stormwater management, and river engineering.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and specifications for construction.
• Coordinate with other team members, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and procedures, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record in managing complex projects.
• Proficiency in FLO-2D or equivalent software is a must.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcoming challenges and finding solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
