As a Grill Cook :
You have a passion for food and grilling with mesquite wood. You prioritize time management, cleanliness, and organization. You follow established recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in every dish. You get satisfied with a perfectly grilled item at the proper temperature.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Follow food safety and handling procedures, such as product rotation, dating and labeling all food items
- Prep and grill items in a timely matter ensuring the quality meets our standards
- Prepare all food items according to the specified cook times to ensure they are safe for consumption
- Utilize proper knife handling procedures
- Ensure the quality of the food items and notify the manager if a product does not meet company standards
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions are met
- Assist other line cooks and kitchen staff to prepare food and provide them with needed items
- Speak with other team members respectfully and with a positive attitude

Must be 18 years of ageMust have a Food Handlers certification before employment beginsMust display exceptional customer service and communication skillsExcellent verbal communication skillsPunctual and reliable attendance is required2 plus year(s) of experience in a high-volume establishment is requiredMust be well-groomed and professionally dressed following uniform standardsMust have attention for detail, and a passion for serving GuestsPositive and professional attitude in every aspect of the positionPhysical requirements : Ability to stand for extended periods of time; capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.; ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions during shifts.
