Position Overview :

The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) specializes in the care of patients undergoing various cardiac and vascular surgeries. Procedures often performed in the CVOR include coronary artery bypass surgery, valve replacements, heart transplants, aortic artery repairs, vascular bypass, endarterectomies, and endovascular cardiac surgeries. As a nurse in the CVOR, you will play a vital role within a highly skilled interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with cardiac and vascular surgeons, advanced practice providers, surgical technologists, perfusionists, anesthesia providers, and support staff.
