Job Summary :

The Assistant Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that products meet specified standards and are installed correctly according to plans. This role involves performing regular quality checks, presenting reports, recommending process adjustments, and guiding subcontractors to maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure products meet specifications and are properly installed as per plans.
• Verify that products are within their shelf life and applied according to specifications.
• Perform regular quality checks with keen attention to detail.
• Present quality control reports to managers.
• Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
• Inspect, test, and measure materials.
• Conduct thermo-testing of building envelopes.
• Test for water intrusions and air filtration.
• Conduct walk-throughs with clients focusing on quality control items.
• Prepare and follow up on QC / observation reports through Procore.
• Guide subcontractors to maintain high-quality standards.
• Follow up on Manufacturers representative install letters for materials used on-site.
• Compile and manage punch lists with Superintendents.
• Maintain open communication lines with architects and engineers.
• Document any warrantable items.
• Perform walk-throughs with subcontractors and Superintendents.

See with close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and have the ability to adjust focus. Reach with hands and arms. Use hands and fingers to operate tools and other business machines. Lift and / or move up to 50 lbs.
