Machine Operator

Job Description :

Location : Canton, Massachusetts

CoWorx Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator in the Canton, MA area!

This role is a 3rd shift position responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of key equipment, supporting smooth production flow, and maintaining strong communication with both maintenance and quality teams.

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee the startup, shutdown, and daily operation of production equipment.

Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and respond appropriately to issues.

Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, maintenance, and management.

Identify and report hazards, anomalies, and concerns promptly to the appropriate parties.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times.

Build and maintain positive working relationships with Maintenance and Quality Assurance teams.

Participate in daily pre-shift starter meetings and engage in the SikaSafe safety program.

Provide operator coverage during breaks as needed.

Desired Background / Skills :

Preferred Skills & Qualifications :

High School Diploma or GED required.

Prior experience in plastics, vinyl coating, lamination, or printing production is highly desirable.

Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read and write in English.

Familiarity with operating touch-screen (PLC) production lines.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.

Flexibility to work overtime and cover alternate shifts with prior notice.
