Role : Manufacturing Engineer

Location : Clearwater / Oldsmar, FL 34677 Onsite

Duration : 12 Months contract (Possible extension or conversion)

Pay Rate : $40-43.00 / hr W2

Shift hour : 4 / 10-1st & 2nd Shift. Onsite

Job Description :

Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for cable harness assemblies and subassemblies.

Interprets engineering prints to design processes and works with design engineering to imp Supports the production floor by working with the operations team and focusing on continuous improvement.

Designs, procures, and implements tooling to support manufacturing processes. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.

Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and specifications.

Supports the production floor by working with the operations team.

Designs manufacturing processes and production layout for cable harness assemblies and subassemblies.

Understands how the cable process works.
