Pay Information
$1,916 to $2,081 per week
About The Position
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for communication disorders.
- Administer therapy services for articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
- Treat swallowing (dysphagia) disorders and eating difficulties.
- Develop and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Consult with physicians, educators, and family members.
- Educate families about communication disorders.
- Maintain accurate clinical records.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices.
Certifications / Requirements
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required.Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field from CAA-accredited program required.State licensure (Speech-Language Pathologist License or Certificate) required.CPR / BLS certification.Experience
Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from CAA-accredited program (2-3 years).Minimum 400 supervised clinical hours (325 hours during graduate program).Pass Praxis examination for SLP (score 162 minimum for ASHA).Complete Clinical Fellowship Year (36 weeks minimum, 1,260 hours).Pass state licensure examination.Compensation and Benefits
