We’re hiring a Financial Counselor who is passionate about helping people access care. You’ll be a trusted guide for patients and families—explaining costs, exploring options, and removing financial barriers so they can focus on healing.

What You’ll Do

• Verify insurance, explain benefits and out‑of‑pocket costs in clear, compassionate language
• Provide financial counseling, including estimates, charity/financial assistance applications, and payment plans
• Help patients access alternative funding (Medicaid, Medicare, state programs, etc.)
• Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, insurers, and internal teams to resolve billing questions

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or higher preferred)
• Experience: 2+ years in patient financial counseling/financial counseling in a hospital setting.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Bonus: experience with assistance programs, government payors, EHR/billing platforms, and/or bilingual skills
