Quality Technician; Weekend Night Shift; 4 / 3 schedule; 12-hour shifts; TH-S; 6 : 00pm-6 : 15am

Role Impact :

As part of this aseptic, beverage manufacturing facility, a Quality Technician will be critical in building a sustainable, high- quality, food safety capability mindset and culture.

In this role, the Quality Technician will continuously perform tasks associated with food safety policies, standards, and procedures.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensures all parameters of food safety and quality are being adhered to and maintained throughout the facility.
• Responsible for component testing of incoming raw material. (i.e., raw milk, skim, cream, cocoa, sugars, etc.)
• Ensures ingredients meets specifications for production.
• Conducts equipment pre-operational inspection.
• Calibrates lab and line equipment for accurate results.
• Collects in-process and finished product samples for testing.
• Verifies cleaning of equipment.
• Responsible for environmental monitoring / testing, including water management systems and air quality.
• Responsible for environmental pathogen swabbing within the facility.
• Responsible for allergen testing of equipment where / when appropriate.
• Conducts shelf-life monitoring of product.
• Ensures aseptic conditions are maintained by testing for microbial contamination.
• Follows protocols for documenting testing results.
• Assists with conducting internal audits.
• Recognizes deficiencies and initiate proper follow-up.
• Identifies and isolate products that do not meet standards.
• Aids in troubleshooting deficiencies and non-conformances.
• Maintains all proper documentation and records associated with responsibilities
• Reviews beverage safety and quality records.
• Maintains and implements components of the SQF System (Food Safety & Food Quality) as required.
• Maintains proper inventory of all laboratory equipment.
• Must follow all proper Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Good Documentation Practices.
• Continuously maintains laboratory areas.
• Actively participates in plant teams (HACCP, Safety, etc.)
• Conducts other duties as assigned by management.
• Follow Food Safety Requirement / Standards as needed.
