The Enterprise Architecture & Data position is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and driving the organization's enterprise architecture and data strategy. This position will lead the development and implementation of a cohesive architectural vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and enabling digital transformation. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, data management principles, and emerging technologies. They will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, aligning with FLC’s business strategy and technology trends.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, policies, and best practices.
• Lead the design and evaluation of complex solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
• Implement and utilize relevant enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and effective execution.
• Enhance and implement a comprehensive FLC data strategy, encompassing data governance, data quality, data security, and data analytics.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Design and implement a scalable and secure data architecture, supporting data warehousing, data lakes, and business intelligence.
• Develop and implement data quality standards and processes, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
• Enable data-driven decision-making by providing access to relevant data and insights.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (CCPA etc.) and implement robust data security measures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Graduation from an accredited college, university, or equivalent with a master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture and data management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role. Experience with agile methodologies and industry certifications (e.g. Azure / AWS Certified) preferred. Experience in insurance, finance, association, public sector, and / or technology industries is highly encouraged.
