The diverse patient population, aged 18 to 90+, often presents with complex vascular issues and various co-morbidities. Here, you will encounter cases involving Carotid Endarterectomy, Lower Extremity Revascularization, Renal Stenting, and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repairs.
This role offers a salary range of $83,200.00 to $93,184.00.

Key Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, and document care in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
- Regularly assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to the care provided.
- Apply sound nursing judgment for effective patient care management.
- Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
- Administer medications as ordered, both over-the-counter and prescription.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for patients.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel, ensuring professional nursing standards are upheld.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree.Current NYS Registered Nurse license is required.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings.Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and the ability to apply them effectively in a clinical setting.We appreciate your interest in becoming part of our team at Albany Medical Center!
