[job_card.job_description]Conduct scholar observations and functional behavior assessments to understand the root causes of behaviors. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders in developing targeted behavior strategies and interventions. Create individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings. Implement behavior support strategies and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), often through one-on-one or small group sessions with teachers, and provide coaching to others on how to effectively implement these strategies and plans. Maintain a digital database of all Behavior Intervention records, forms, observations, agreements, and other relevant documents. Conduct observations of classrooms and school environments to ensure behavior strategies and practices are being implemented with fidelity. Support and coach teachers as it relates to behavior supports implementation at the classroom level (Tier 1 and Tier 2 supports). Support the Deans, Operations Directors, and Counselors in the creation and implementation of both Tier 1 and Tier 2 Interventions. Meet regularly with school leadership to ensure implementation and review changes in data. Provide support that is culturally responsive and respectful of trauma responses to ensure all supports and interventions are individualized and effective. Provide support to families through meetings, workshops, and individualized training. Participate in scholar case conferences and retention conferences. Train and support paraprofessionals. The salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year.
