As a Program Design Manager, you will refine and drive clarity in the business requirements necessary to ensure new carriers, products, conventions and coverages for our Commercial business unit are successfully implemented. You’ll collaborate with many teams, including Product Development, Actuarial, Claims, Customer Service, Software, Product Implementation, Sales & Marketing. This position requires a strong background in Commercial BOP and an intellectually curious mindset, motivated to learn and grow.

Responsibilities
Clarify project scope and gain alignment on business objectives for new carriers, products, or other changes.
Document detailed business requirements, including process and platform changes needed to support product or product change.
Meet with internal stakeholders and provide written updates on objectives and goals.
Partner with technology groups to assess feasibility of the requirements.
Support planning and execution of key change‑management and go‑to‑market details.
Communicate status of designs, implementation, and post‑implementation follow‑up to impacted stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Serve as a subject‑matter expert for the Commercial business unit.
Support new product adoption and product changes through change‑management efforts.
Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
Monitor program performance and recommend improvements as needed.
Handle ad‑hoc projects as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
8+ years of insurance industry experience in Underwriting or Product Development with commercial BOP products.
Experience in project management and familiarity with technology concepts.
Experience documenting business requirements.
Expertise in quoting and policy administration.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills.
Strong critical‑thinking skills and ability to define problems, analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
Do‑what‑it‑takes” attitude toward accomplishing tasks.
Awareness and sensitivity to the customer experience, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SQL experience.
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.
