Piedmont Orthopedics in Athens is seeking a board-certified orthopedic surgeon to service our community in Monroe, GA. The Piedmont Athens satellite location in Monroe is located on the Piedmont Walton Hospital is a great opportunity to join a nationally recognized healthcare system as well as an excellent orthopedic program that serves as the team doctors for the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

The ideal candidate is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who would be the anchor of the satellite working with a PA while other subspecialty orthopedic surgeons rotate through the best candidate suited for this position will want to pursue an interest in the community surrounding Piedmont Walton Hospital and also possess leadership skills to further develop the orthopedic program partnering with current Orthopedic surgeons in current practice includes:

oGeneral orthopedics

oSports Medicine

oJoint/Adult Reconstruction

oTrauma orthopedic surgery

oHand/Wrist surgery

oFoot/ Ankle surgery
