Hybrid - 2-3 days on site

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to help build the cloud-native data pipelines that power critical insights across our organization. You’ll work with modern technologies, solve real-world data challenges, and support analytics and reporting systems that drive smarter decision-making in the transportation space.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric
• Implement incremental and real-time ingestion using medallion architecture
• Develop and optimize complex SQL and Python transformations
• Support legacy platforms (SSIS, SQL Server) while contributing to modernization efforts
• Troubleshoot data quality and integration issues
• Participate in proof-of-concepts and recommend technical solutions

What You Bring

• 5+ years designing and building data solutions
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with ETL pipelines and Data Lake architecture
• Ability to collaborate and adapt in a fast-moving environment

Preferred: Azure services, cloud ETL tools, Power BI/Tableau, event-driven systems, NoSQL databases

Bonus: Experience with Data Science or Machine Learning
