Job Description :
Addison Group is looking for a Project Manager of Agile IT Projects to drive technology projects, ensuring successful delivery of business benefits within defined parameters. This role requires strong project and agile methodology experience, specifically with customer-facing cloud technologies. A collaborative and consultative approach is essential for guiding projects and contributing to solutions across the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Project Lifecycle : Drive the successful delivery of technology projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they meet objectives, stay within budget, adhere to timelines, and satisfy internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with internal customers to deeply understand project objectives, and to ensure requirements are properly defined and documented.
- Take ownership and actively manage the project throughout its entire lifecycle following the waterfall or agile project management processes and methodologies depending on the project type.
- Champion Scrum principles, serving as a Scrum Master to cultivate a robust culture of agile project delivery. This includes :
- Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the Scrum framework, including how Jira software, ceremonies, and artifacts function cohesively.
- Exhibiting meticulous attention to the organization, management, and hygiene of all project tasks (Jira stories, epics, etc.).
- Facilitating patient, iterative, sprint-by-sprint process improvements.
- Leading all Scrum ceremonies and educating stakeholders on their proper use and inherent value.
- Ensuring a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities across the project team.
- Proactively engage and coordinate all involved teams (regional and global) to identify optimal solutions and secure appropriate resource assignments.
- Regularly and transparently communicate project status to all key stakeholders. Coordinates tasks, meetings, and other as needed
- Proactively identify, document, and mitigate project risks throughout every phase.
- Promote the use of good project management practices.
- Follow up diligently on team member deliverables, adapting swiftly to accommodate change and fostering a culture of adaptability within the entire project team.
- Develop comprehensive project charters and detailed project management plans.
- Clearly articulate and establish project scope, timelines, budgets, stakeholder responsibilities, deliverables, and key milestones.
- Possess a foundational understanding of the software development process.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience (managing multiple technology projects, to include design, development, and implementation of software applications / platforms and client-facing web applications).Scrum Master certificate and PMP highly desired.WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 4 years managing complex projects of diverse size in a cross-functional, multicultural, and global environment using formal project management processes.2 years prior experience directly managing in a Scrum Master or combination of Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner roles is highly desired.Experience implementing Agile into an organization using customer-facing cloud-based technologies.Key areas of experience required are technology and online business services delivery projects and experience in working with multiple vendors and end clients over multiple time zones.Experience managing projects and working with project management methodologies. (e.g., waterfall, agile, iterative) and knowing when one method is more applicable than another.Experience with web, CRM, and digital transformation projects preferred.Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and non-profit associations is a plus.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
