Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Dual Modality CT / Rad Technologist for weekend 12-hour day shifts requiring ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a high-volume hospital with 182 licensed beds and Trauma Level IV designation
  • Dual modality role covering both CT and Radiology in ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings
  • Average of 325 patients per day across modalities
  • Weekend schedule : two 12-hour shifts, Saturday and Sunday, 9 : 00am–9 : 30pm
  • Uses EPIC EMR system and equipment from Siemens and GE
  • Holiday coverage requires working 75% of holidays
  • Schedule cycle is every 4 weeks
  • No floating required
  • Will work with a variety of patient diagnoses in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient areas
  • Support includes nursing and transport teams
  • Facility orientation includes online courses and 3-5 days of departmental training
  • High volume department focused on team accountability and patient-centered care
  • Black scrubs required
  • Free parking provided

  • Manager approval required for time off

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in CT and Radiology
  • Current ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications
  • BLS certification required
  • Photo ID required for compliance
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
  • Skills requirements vary by modality and will be discussed during interview
  • Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from home unit
  • License required if applicable
