Salary :

US Synthetichas an immediate need for aMaintenance TechnicianIlocatedinOrem, UT. The MaintenanceTechnicianIwill troubleshoot and perform basic repairs toequipment of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic controls. Perform preventative maintenance on machines to ensure maximum operational availability.

This is a grave shift position and will close 12 / 16 / 2025.

What You Will Do :

  • Perform machine moves and assembly per factory needs under the direction of supervisors
  • Troubleshoot basic machine issues on down-calls and repair equipment per machine schematics whether mechanical,electricalor hydraulic machines and presses
  • Perform existing preventative maintenance
  • Respond to work orders and down-calls fromdispatch and use Tech Teamsresources as needed
  • Perform upgrades on machines with automation
  • Operates acetone reclamation unit
  • Maintain and improve standardworks
  • Follow all company policies (Attendance, No Tobacco Products on Campus, Illegal Drug & Alcohol, Family Medical Leave Act, Personal Appearance, Personal Electronic Devices, Vacation & Personal Time, etc.)

    • MinimumRequirements :

  • High school diploma / GEDisrequired
  • Mechanical or electrical background
  • ValidDrivers License
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role

    • Physical Demands :

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb and work from ladders,platformsand machinery
  • Full range of body motion,i.e.lifting, kneeling,squattingand twisting
  • Use of Safety Equipment (Safety glasses, Steel-toed shoes, Hearing Protection,occasionallywear a respirator)

    • PreferredQualifications :

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Basic understanding of schematics
  • Analytical and critical thinking
  • Basic root cause analysis
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Clear and concise writing skills
  • Ability to organize priorities and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Detail oriented
  • Apply learned Lean manufacturing principles to problem solving and daily work
  • Troubleshooting skills,utilizationof PDCA method for problem solving
  • Certified tooperateoverhead crane, forktruckand scissor lift
  • Ability to complete projects withaccuratedocumentation and repairs
