Engineering Intern (Civil or Environmental)

SCS Engineers is looking for a summer 2026 intern to join our deep well injection team. This opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience in both technical engineering and business operations through a diverse range of client projects while giving you the chance to explore the beginnings of your own career path. Ideally, the intern will work primarily in our Morton IL office, with the option to work in our Wichita KS office depending on location. This position will involve frequent field work with possible overnight travel and the opportunity for remote work. As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced professionals on projects centered around permitting and construction for Underground Injection Control (UIC) projects; groundwater sampling, reporting, and permitting; and other environmental projects for our solid waste, electric utilities, and manufacturing clients.
