An independent, community, nonprofit medical center seeks a Hybrid Internal Medicine provider in Sylacauga, AL! 45 minutes southeast of Birmingham!

  • 168 licensed bed facility
  • 45 minutes southeast of Birmingham, 45 minutes form Lay Lake, and 45 minutes to Lake Martin

    • Job / Practice Description : Internal Medicine / Hospitalist

  • Mixture of Outpatient and Inpatient Duties
  • Inpatient is an open ICU that does not require procedures and has Critical Care backup
  • Team of 6 Internal Medicine providers
  • Only see patients. All billing and paperwork is done for you.
  • Call on own patients

  • MD / DO
  • AL Medical License or in Process

    • About the Area :

  • Sylacauga is a small city with a rich history, particularly in the marble industry and space exploration, and it has a strong sense of local community. With 14,000 current residents, this town is located 45 minutes from Birmingham, AL which boasts a population of 200,000 residents. Sylacauga hosts various community events throughout the year, including arts and culture festivals, music concerts, and local celebrations. The city also has a number of parks, recreational areas, and cultural institutions, like the Sylacauga Arts Council, which supports the local arts scene. The city is served by the Sylacauga City School District which is an excellent public school system, including elementary, middle, and high schools. There is also a branch of the Central Alabama Community College located in the city, offering higher education opportunities. The city is situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and is near several outdoor recreation areas, including Lake Martin and Cheaha State Park. Sylacauga is know to have hot, humid summers of 90 degrees and mild to cool winters rarely ever getting below 30 degrees.
