This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Position Overview

Description :

Level 3 RN - Endoscopy / GI Unit

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm

On call required for overnights and weekends

5, 8hr shifts OR 4, 10hr shifts

Job Duties

Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns

Observing patient vital signs

Sedating patients before procedures

Recovering patients after procedures

Administering the necessary medication to patients

Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents

Preparing the instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure

Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use

Providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure

Administering IV drips

Requirements

NY license ONLY

BLS Certification (AHA ONLY)

2 years previous experience

Telemetry Experience Required

Skills

NYS RN License - Required

2 years of Endo / GI experience - Highly desired

BLS - Required
