About the job

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Customer Support Specialist to support Alfa Laval's U.S. Human Resources Shared Services team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in delivering high-impact HR support across the organization-partnering with employees, managers, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

This is a hybrid role based in Houston, TX or Richmond, VA.

As a part of the team, you will :

• Process new hires from time of job offer through first week of hire
• Act as first point of contact for inquiries into HR from internal and external clients, responding with a high level of customer service, professionalism, and promptness
• Follow set standard operating procedures (SOPs) when completing tickets submitted via the ticket management system (ServiceNow)
• Process day-to-day Human Resources transactions, accurately enter data into HR systems and databases, and ensure proper transmission of HR data to employees and relevant HR stakeholders
• Interact with various departments to resolve issues and complete tasks for the greater HR team
• In partnership with HR, immigration attorneys, and employees, ensure visa processing is completed for employees requiring visas
• Recommend process improvements, identify issues, and make suggestions that enhance customer service and increase efficiencies

The base salary for this role is typically $29.00 to $32.00 per hour.
