Production Operator - Glendale CA

Our client is currently looking for a Production Operator for their chemical manufacturing site in Los Angeles (Glendale) CA. As a flexible and motivated team member you will operate plant equipment and chemical processes safely and efficiently to production output.

Pay Rate : $30.00 per hour

You will be responsible but not limited to the following :

• Safely handle chemicals and chemical processing equipment (vessels mixers reactors dischargers) for the manufacture of epoxy and polyurethane type formulations for aerospace electronics tooling etc.
• Processes incorporate heating cooling vacuum pressure nitrogen purging and exothermic reactions.
• Good housekeeping is essential along with motivation for high quality.
• Use of a forklift and physical handling of drums is common.
• The role also includes the filling of containers and cleaning of equipment and tools.
• The individual should be able to work independently as well as part of a team following instructions and completing tasks as assigned by Supervisor / Lead Operator.
• Participate in Environmental Health and Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.
