COORDINATOR-DIABETES SELF MGMT PREG

Summary

JOB SUMMARY : Coordinates and performs administrative and clinical functions to maintain Diabetes Self-Management in Pregnancy program certification by the American Diabetes Administration. Works collaboratively with and serves as a direct resource, advisor, preceptor and leader for multi-disciplinary team members. Provides direct patient care to referred patients. REQUIREMENTS : Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Must have a Bachelor's degree at a US regionally accredited university/college and course work accredited/approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). At least 2 years of experience in care of diabetic patients. National Certification Board of Dietetics Educators, Passed a national Exam (CDR), Licensed Dietitian in Maryland.
