Your work will enable consistent access, accelerate integrations, and unlock new monetization opportunities by creating the standards, services, and integrations that power Medallia's data ecosystem.

You will own the strategy and roadmap for shared data services and enterprise-level interfaces, operating at the intersection of technical feasibility, business needs, and customer impact. You will establish scalable governance frameworks, define integration playbooks, and partner with GTM teams to commercialize Medallia's unified data assets.

This role requires deep expertise in enterprise data platforms, distributed systems, and large-scale governance frameworks, combined with a proven ability to align multiple stakeholders and deliver cross-company initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive platform-wide services such as feature stores, vector stores, embeddings, and metadata catalogs.
  • Create playbooks and infrastructure for onboarding new acquisitions into the unified data platform quickly and reliably.
  • Define enterprise-level data APIs and developer interfaces for consistent access across products.
  • Implement policies and tooling for enterprise-level data authorization, retention, and compliance.
  • Partner with GTM teams to create cross-product data products and APIs that drive incremental revenue.
  • Define and manage a 12+ month roadmap balancing foundational capabilities, product adoption, and monetization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product managers, sales, design, and product marketing to ensure alignment and adoption of shared data services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of product management or equivalent experience focused on enterprise data platforms, analytics, or distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated experience building, launching, and scaling platform-wide data services.
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional company initiatives with measurable adoption and business impact.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, data platform components such as lakes / warehouses / lakehouses, catalogs, virtualization, and pipelines.
  • Expertise in enterprise-scale governance, compliance, and data quality practices.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of direct experience defining global data models and shared data services.
  • Proven ability to onboard acquisitions into a unified platform at scale.
  • Familiarity with AI / ML frameworks, vector databases, and feature store architectures.
  • Experience commercializing data products and APIs for enterprise customers.
  • Familiarity with customer experience management platforms.
  • Experience working in agile product development environments, including Productboard and JIRA.
