Why This Role Matters
As a Licensed Therapist serving Pima and Santa Cruz Counties with Kindbridge Behavioral Health, you'll play a vital role in supporting first responders and their families through moments of crisis, recovery, and ongoing wellness. In this role, you'll provide both virtual and in-person therapy, conduct mental health assessments, and offer on-call crisis support when needed. You'll be part of a compassionate team dedicated to helping first responders build resilience and heal from the unique challenges of their work. This regionally based position allows you to deliver evidence-based care tailored to those on the front lines—sometimes including triage and limited travel to offer in-person crisis support when it matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-call crisis support and clinical triage, including occasional travel to assist first responders during critical incidents
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver confidential annual counseling evaluations for first responders
- Assess, diagnose, and support cilents through individualized therapeutic care
- Offer couples, family, and group sessions as appropriate
- Facilitate critical incident stress management and group or individual debriefings
- Build strong, trusting relationships that create a safe space for clients to process emotions and experiences
- Develop and adjust care plans based on each client's needs and goals
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in alignment with HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Remain current with best practices and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related fieldMust reside in Arizona and hold an active license as a therapist in the state (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)Experience providing triage care and crisis intervention for first responders and their families during high-intensity or critical incidents requiredStrong background in evidence-based treatment modalities, including trauma-informed careExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients quicklyStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively document client progress and treatment plansWorkers' compensation experience a plusExperience with EHR systems, telehealth tools, and various clinical software applicationsCommitment to providing high-quality care and to continuously improving your skills and knowledgeWhy Join Kindbridge?
