[job_card.job_description]Strong working knowledge and experience with schematic capture and layout of high-density PCBs in Orcad or Allegro Working knowledge of Signal Integrity, Power Integrity 5+ years of hands-on experience in board-level design, bring-up, manufacturing, and testing Experience with DFM / DFT / DFX Experience with IPC standards for PCB manufacturing, assembly, and test Established track record of designing and releasing electronics into production, ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency Demonstrated experience with general EE test equipment Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, MS is preferred Previous experience with HDI in high-reliability electronics Working knowledge of RF design principles, including transmission line theory and practical implementation in PCB layout. Our Goals
At Farcast, we aim to improve global prosperity. We achieve this goal by building innovative products that enable access to information. Satellite internet is one of the most important ways to achieve this goal and to provide global connectivity coverage. However, the capacity of satellite internet services is limited by the quality and affordability of the devices consumers use to connect to satellites. These devices are called “user terminals”. Our mission is to bring unprecedented innovation to the user terminal industry. We believe our innovation will be key in making satellite internet accessible to everyone. Responsibilities
- Design schematic and layout of mixed-signal, power, and digital circuitry for RF applications.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions, including power networks, thermal management, and component selection.
- Successful delivery of PCB / PCBA builds using HDI technology
- Develop and execute PCBA test plans with an emphasis on IEC compliance and reliability across environmental conditions.

Base Salary Range
Compensation includes a competitive base salary as part of a comprehensive package tailored to the candidate’s experience and background.
$140,000 - $170,000 a year

All employees are expected to be at the office, in person, for a minimum of two days per week
