Position Summary

This position supports operational excellence in the building and testing of hydraulic components. This role entails collaboration with various members of the Sargent hydraulics team to meet organizational goals while furthering productivity quality and continuous improvement. The primary functions of this position are to assemble and test hydraulic components.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Ensure that all work performed complies with Sargent procedures drawings work instructions Foreign Object Debris (FOD) tooling control standards and quality policies as well as customer and regulatory requirements.
• Record and report necessary technical data using Sargent approved documentation.
• Verify that proper equipment is used and is sufficient for work performed; verify that all calibration requirements are met.
• Work with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to improve the assembly and test process.
• Performs sub / lower-level assemblies.
