Shipping / Receiving Clerk

The Receiving Clerk position involves matching purchase orders against products physically received, counting, and labeling them to designate them to the appropriate site. Each item received must be scanned into a container, such as a pallet, to ensure timely shipping. This role requires the use of a pallet jack or forklift to move products and involves data entry tasks like recording inventory and part numbers.

Responsibilities :

  • Match purchase orders against physically received products.
  • Count and label products for site designation.
  • Scan items into containers for shipping.
  • Use pallet jack or forklift to move products.
  • Enter inventory and part numbers into the computer system.

Essential Skills :

  • 2+ years of shipping and / or receiving experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • High attention to detail and counting ability.
  • Experience with forklift and pallet jack operation.
  • Competence in data entry, inventory control, and problem-solving.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications :

  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Experience with RF scanners, cycle counts, and order picking.
  • Knowledge of packaging, packing, labeling, and loading.
  • Familiarity with bills of lading and general labor tasks.

    Work Environment :

    The work environment involves delivering critical e-fulfillment warehouse implementation services, from design consultation to technical integration and buildout. The role is based in a facility that provides maximum site efficiencies. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes and jeans. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, with overtime as needed, and associates are informed in advance to plan accordingly.

    Job Type & Location :

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodyear, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits :

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following :
