Mill-turn Machinist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mill-Turn Machinist to join their team to produce highly provisioned parts with tight tolerances. Responsibilities :

• Turn blueprints and sketches into reality by laying out work, developing processes, and performing setups
• Execute progressive machining operations with very tight tolerances
• Work closely with the engineering, quality, and supervision teams in a collaborative environment
• Identify the needs of tooling, materials and issues that arise with machining operations
• Use Esprit programming software or manual programming to set up machine jobs
• Use calipers, micrometers and necessary gauges to ensure every part meets standards, dimensional accuracy, and finish
• Share feedback to improve processes, tooling, and programs—your ideas matter here!
