Job Summary : Oversee and execute logistics and trade compliance operations across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and strict adherence to import, export, and domestic regulations. This role emphasizes hands-on management of export controls, shipment coordination, and compliance processes to support business needs and regulatory requirements.
Work Location And Travel : Role provides the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required. Travel within North America up to 15%.
Duties And Responsibilities
Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident.
Qualifications
Required : BA / BS or equivalent education and experience. Minimum 3 years of hands-on logistics and trade compliance experience in the U.S. and Canada. Minimum 3 years' experience with U.S. and Canadian import / export regulations and logistics processes. Minimum 1 year experience with Duty Drawback, FTAs, and U.S. Goods Return procedures. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines. Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident.
Desired : Management experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Oracle), and trade compliance tools. Minimum 5 years' experience with ECCN and HTS classification.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics : Operational Focus Executes logistics and compliance tasks efficiently and accurately. Organization & Prioritization Manages multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information : This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
