Program Analyst

Responsibilities

Specific tasks include :

• Facilitating the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Executing (PPBE) process.
• Developing and maintaining program acquisition documentation and program schedules.
• Performing analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual / project requirements for assigned portions of a program or programs.
• Managing all project funds and ensuring funding obligation goals are met.
• Providing advice on financial analysis issues, concerns, and special projects.
• Coordinating, negotiating, and resolving financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements.
• Preparing Information Papers in response to Congressional inquiries or funding cuts.
• Monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.
• Interfacing with management, responding to their requests for financial data.
• Resolving reporting and compliance issues.
• Interfacing with the Government Program Manager supporting all tasks and subtasks for program direction.
• Effectively communicating and coordinating with the military leadership, US Government customers, and Contractors.
• Planning and assisting major system life cycle support tasks / functions including requirements definition, acquisition, integration, test and evaluation, fielding / installation, and disposition.
• Establishing and / or maintaining a risk management plan for the program.
• Participating in weekly project meetings to review project progress and issues.
• Salary Range : $55,000 - $130,000 / Year, DOE

Education

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
