Specializing in large-scale multifamily developments, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated working Journeyman Electrician / Job Runner to manage and execute electrical installations across various multifamily projects in the Austin and Central Texas region.

Position Summary :

We are looking for a full-time Working Journeyman Electrician / Job Runner to oversee electrical installations and run day-to-day operations on job sites for multifamily projects. This hands-on role will require managing small teams, ensuring that electrical work is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local codes and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the on-site execution of electrical installations for multifamily developments.
  • Work closely with the project manager, site superintendent, and other trades to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and specifications.
  • Oversee a small team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety standards and practices.
  • Perform hands-on electrical work, including wiring, conduit installation, panel assembly, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Coordinate material orders and deliveries to ensure work can be completed without delays.
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Maintain accurate daily work logs and report project status to the project manager.

    • Qualifications :

  • Texas-licensed Journeyman Electrician.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in multifamily or commercial electrical work.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proven experience managing small teams and running job sites.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
