Job Description :

Description : Oakton College is looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Onsite Job Coach to assist with students who are participating in a Gateways Level 1 Early Childhood Education program. This program provides neurodiverse students who are enrolled in transitional programs, with an opportunity to have a paid internship in the early childhood education industry. In this short-term position, the Onsite Job Coach will assist daycare staff with guiding and managing students during their 4-week engagement.

Essential Functions of the Position : ? The primary role of this position is to assist in maintaining an environment conducive to learning and working ? Assist daycare staff with student management ? Work collaboratively with facility Director and Managers

Requirements :

• Illinois Paraprofessional license, substitute teaching license, professional Educator license, or Certified Behavioral Therapist
• Experience assisting with special education students
• Willing and able to meet the needs of students
• Must be enthusiastic about working with a special needs population
• Willingness to learn and assist in the evolution of this new pilot program

Additional Information :

Training Dates : November 18 - December 18, 2025 Location : New Trier Childcare Center (Bright Horizons Northfield) Days / Times : Mondays and Wednesdays 9 : 00am-11 : 00am and 11 : 00am -1 : 00pm Pay : $25 / hr.
