This is an outstanding opportunity to provide specialized outpatient care within a well-established, reputable health system. St. Mary’s Hospital, the flagship of Bon Secours Mercy Health, offers a supportive environment in one of the country's largest healthcare networks, delivering comprehensive maternal-fetal services.
Position Highlights :
- Type : Full-time or Part-time (guaranteed hours; no per diem)
- Location : Outpatient clinics in Richmond, VA, with coverage at two hospitals featuring Level II and Level III NICUs
- Start Date : As soon as credentialed
Responsibilities :
Management of outpatient maternal-fetal consultations and follow-up careLimited inpatient procedures including cerclages (approximately 20-30 annually) and in-office AmniocentesisCollaboration with a dedicated team of Nurse Practitioners and neonatologistsParticipation in patient education, high-risk pregnancy management, and fetal surveillanceWork Environment :
No deliveries requiredSupport from a 2+ physician MFM team offering consult-only servicesUtilization of Viewpoint and EPIC electronic health record systemsQualifications :
Medical Degree from an accredited institutionBoard Certification or Board Eligibility in Maternal-Fetal MedicineMinimum of 1 year of MFM experience preferred; new fellowship graduates are encouraged to applyResident within the immediate Richmond area; relocation may be necessaryValid and current medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensureDemonstrated commitment to quality patient care and team collaborationCandidate Requirements :
