We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals looking to kickstart their careers in events management within a fast-paced and exciting environment. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a variety of professionals in planning and executing a diverse range of events, including corporate meetings, social gatherings, and large-scale conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and execution of various events and functions
- Support event planning processes including budgeting, logistics, and vendor management
- Communicate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences
- Help maintain event project timelines to ensure deadlines are met
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of events, including equipment and materials
- Provide on-site support during events, addressing any issues that arise
- Gather feedback post-event to evaluate success and identify improvement opportunities
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- A keen eye for detail and a creative mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in event planning or customer service is a plus but not required
