Departmental Objective
To strengthen and support the University's operations and reputation by providing superior customer service and event management through coordinating effective and efficient event scheduling, event and conference services and event logistical support for all University stakeholders and external partners.
Purpose of the Position
The Technical Assistant for Events Operations provides technical support for event operations including audiovisual and other services in all University owned venues both on and off campus. The position also provides assistance with set-up and operations of audiovisual equipment, as well as post-events breakdown, including but not limited to : audio, lighting, and video / projection equipment.
