Picture your morning : you review the day’s work orders, study a blueprint, choose the right tooling, and bring a lathe or mill to life. You dial in the setup, verify dimensions with precision instruments, and make smart adjustments to keep parts on-spec and on-time. That’s a typical day for our CNC and Manual Machining Specialist.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and run a variety of machines—lathes, mills, and grinders—to produce accurate components.
- Translate drawings, blueprints, and technical specs into efficient machining operations.
- Tune machine parameters and offsets to maintain quality and throughput.
- Perform routine upkeep and basic troubleshooting to reduce downtime.
- Measure and verify parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
- Partner with teammates to streamline processes and boost productivity.
- Keep the workspace orderly and safe, following all shop safety practices.
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent; machining-related certification is a plus.Hands-on experience as a Machinist or in a closely related role.Comfort operating both CNC and conventional machine tools.Solid grasp of machining fundamentals, techniques, feeds / speeds, and tooling.Fluency reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documentation.Sharp attention to detail and practical problem-solving ability.Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Flexibility to work varied hours when needed.Location
