City: Upstate New York State: New York Assignment Overview Specialty: Inpatient Psychiatry (Adult) Provider Type: Physician Number of Providers Needed: 2 Start Date: ASAP (upon credentialing) Duration: Ongoing Coverage Type: Full-time locum Schedule & Call Days: Monday Friday Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Weekend Call: 1:4 On Call: 1:4 rotation Clinical Responsibilities Adult inpatient psychiatry coverage Daily rounding, evaluations, follow-ups, and discharges Participation in call rotation Occasional crisis unit coverage during weekend call only (Pediatric patients evaluated in crisis unit only and transferred if admitted) Patient Load Adult inpatient behavioral health unit Approximately 15 patients per provider per day Unit consists of multiple inpatient psychiatrists at full staffing Staffing & Support Multiple inpatient psychiatrists onsite APP support on outpatient side 24/7 hospital security Full interdisciplinary treatment team Systems EMR: Epic Requirements Board Certification: Required License: Active New York license required at submission Certifications: ACLS required Availability: Must be available full-time Background: Clean background required for expedited credentialing Credentialing Timeline: Expedited / ASAP
