As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availabilitygiving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol dynamic tech environments, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a technology-driven environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Collaborate with technology and media professionals to maintain a secure environment, adapting to the unique needs of the location.
  • Support access control processes and monitor entry and exit points as part of daily patrols.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information, maintaining a professional presence.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
