Job Title : Controls Technician

Job Description

The Controls Manufacturing Technician will be supporting highly automated assembly lines. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining equipment within the facility and potentially supporting other facilities as needed. This position also includes PLC program edits and ensuring equipment runs smoothly. The technician will participate in continuous improvement projects and develop new coding programs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment within the facility and occasionally support other facilities.
• Support PLC program edits and ensure equipment is running smoothly.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and develop new coding programs.
• Maintain effective communication with the first shift Sr. Controls Engineer.

Work Environment

The technician will work on the 3rd shift with one other technician, reporting to the first shift Sr. Controls Engineer. This role offers a great opportunity for new graduates or individuals without a degree to gain experience and grow within the field. The position allows for flexibility to pursue further education.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $40.00 / hr.
