Are you passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment? Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I for the General Specialty team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a reputable healthcare provider recognized for its comprehensive medical specialties. With a focus on patient safety and care, you will play a vital role in the Operating Room.

About the Role :

  • Full-time evening shifts (8 or 10-hour shifts) with the possibility of call duties.
  • Located at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215.

  • Competitive pay range of $26.10 - $39.15 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
  • Attractive sign-on bonuses : $10,000 for distant relocations and $2,000 for PM shifts.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain a clean and safe operating environment while utilizing aseptic techniques during surgical procedures.
  • Prepare the surgical area and anticipate the needs of the surgeons and surgical teams.
  • Assist with patient positioning and transporting duties, ensuring proper lifting techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team regarding equipment and supply issues.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 6 months.
  • No prior experience required, making it ideal for recent graduates!

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-stress environment while lifting, carrying, and transferring patients as needed.
  • Exposure to various hazards, including chemicals and bodily fluids, is expected.
