Billing Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, handling billing discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely billing for our customers.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Responsibilities:
- Generate and send out invoices to customers
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and invoices
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues
- Follow up with customers on overdue payments
- Update customer files with issued invoices and payments
- Assist with month-end closing activities
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve billing processes and efficiency
