Job Title : UX Researcher
Location : Role is based in Plano TX with a minimum of 3 days in-office per week (Tuesday Wednesday Thursday).
Duration : Ongoing Contract Full 40 Hours
Details :
Point of Pain / Reason for need : Recent layoffs impacted the design system team. The company is refocusing efforts on its most profitable business unit-Component Manufacturing (CM)-and is preparing for a major product showcase in 11 months. These roles will support CM and help elevate the UX maturity of the organization.
What is this person going to be doing every day (Day in the Life) :
- Lead strategic research initiatives across multiple product lines
- Design and execute mixed-method research (qualitative quantitative)
- Deliver actionable insights that influence product roadmaps and business strategy
- Mentor junior researchers and promote best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research drives decisions
- Advocate for thoughtful evidence-based design in a traditionally fast-paced screen-heavy industry
