Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for the inspection, documentation, and certification of products, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. You will utilize GD&T concepts, read engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerance specifications, and compare measurements with blueprints, recording any discrepancies. This role involves working with materials such as aluminum, titanium, steel, and magnesium, and requires the ability to navigate and use home-grown computer systems for data entry purposes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products and document findings to ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer specifications.
• Use GD&T concepts to assess compliance with AS9100 / NADCAP standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerance specifications.
• Compare measurements against blueprints and record discrepancies using NFC technology.
• Operate measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities that may change throughout the day.

Work Environment

The position is located on the shop floor within the quality department, comprising 14 team members across two shifts. The team is collaborative and hands-on, with members willing to provide training and support. The role requires a focus on completing tasks efficiently rather than engaging in non-work-related activities.

This is a Permanent position based out of Enfield, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $76960.00 / yr.
