Senior Product & System Analyst

Established institutional investment management firm offering mutual funds, separately managed accounts, model portfolios, and other commingled vehicles through intermediary and managed account platforms. Their investment teams provide a suite of fixed income, concentrated active equity, and multi-asset solutions.

Responsibilities :

Produce data for various investment strategies, including separate accounts and fund-related strategies

Support marketing / RFP production, portfolio managers, and management by generating reports

Manage reporting needs, ensuring compliance with company standards while addressing complex client requests

Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports on portfolio and benchmark holdings, attribution, manager performance, and peer rankings

Respond to client and prospect inquiries with in-depth product analysis

Automate deliverables and standardize processes for data delivery to management, investment teams, marketing, and client services while ensuring data integrity

Utilize third-party tools such as FactSet PA, FactSet SPAR, Bloomberg, eVestment, Morningstar Direct, and Sustainalytics

Provide technical assistance in evaluating and developing systems and processes to meet business needs

Collaborate with marketing on Seismic (content management system) : Map data sources, write queries, and implement process improvements

Lead product data and industry trend initiatives, analyzing processes and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

5+ years of experience in performance measurement and / or analytics within the financial services industry

Preferred : CIPM, CFA, or other relevant professional designations

Strong technical knowledge of markets, securities (especially fixed income), portfolio construction, investment systems, performance, composites, and product analysis

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros)

Familiarity with investment systems, data providers, and analytics tools (experience with Seismic, Advent APX, Archer, Orion, Charles River, FactSet, Bloomberg, CAPS, Snowflake, etc. is a plus)

Combine domain knowledge in performance measurement with technical skills in investment systems (SQL, VBA), data manipulation, and the ability to manage both routine and unexpected business demands in a fast-paced environment
