Andy Cortez Insurance Agency, Inc. in Santa Maria, CA is growing and looking for a sales-focused Inside Sales Closer to help convert inbound leads, prepared quotes, and warm opportunities into bound insurance policies.

This is not a service-heavy role. Your primary responsibility is to follow up, ask for the order, and close new business across Personal Lines, Specialty, and Umbrella products. Service support is handled by the agency team so you can stay focused on sales performance.

Responsibilities

Follow up on inbound leads and quotes within 10 minutes of receipt

Make daily outbound follow-up calls to prospects and prior quotes

Ask directly for the sale and move decisions forward

Bind new Personal Lines, Specialty, and Umbrella policies

Handle basic objections and set clear next steps

Track calls, follow-ups, and results in agency systems

Participate in coaching and sales training to improve closing performance

This role does NOT include :

Billing or payment issues

Heavy servicing or policy changes

Renewal management

Requirements

Active California Property & Casualty license required

Active California Life & Health license required

Comfortable making outbound calls and following up persistently

Willing to ask for the order and handle objections

Coachable, accountable, and results-driven

Sales experience preferred; insurance experience helpful but not required

This role is not a fit for candidates who prefer administrative or service-focused work.
