Class A CDL Driver
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for our Jeannette, PA team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tractor trailers and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
- Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
- Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.
Basic Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalentValid Class A Commercial Driver's LicenseStrong commitment to safety and environmental complianceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust have a reliable form of transportationMust be willing to work flexible hours during the week, including long-distance travel and approx. one to two overnight stays per weekAbility to work overtime on a regular basisMust be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basisMust be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environmentThe Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste. This role is considered safety-sensitiveMust be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorshipPreferred Requirements :
